From 13.00 until 18.00  we will show you demonstration of horseshoe-forging.

The farrier will introduce the visitors to the entire procedure of horseshoe making. He first heats a bar of iron in a soft-coal fireplace, and raises the temperature by blowing air with the use of bellows. By using sledges he hammers the heated bar on the anvil and shapes it into a horseshoe. In the blacksmith’s shop he makes various hand tools.
