The beginnings of mobile telephony in Slovenia date back to the 1990s, when it was a step or two behind Germany, where development began in the 1980s. Later, this development leveled off, and Slovenia caught up with Germany in 2003 with UMTS technology. The exhibition is part of the accompanying program that Slovenia is preparing as a guest of honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair, which will take place from October 18 to 22, 2023. Exhibition Hello, where are you? (Hallo! Wer da?), and will be on display until April 2024.

The exhibition has been opened on 17th of September and shows the similarities and differences in the development of mobile technology in both countries. It is on display at the Museum fϋr Kommunikation in Frankfurt.
